WALKING AND BIKING
We are located just off the Norwalk River Valley Trail, a paved walking and biking path which connects us to SoNo, East Norwalk, and Calf Pasture Beach in one direction and the Wall Street neighborhood in the other. In coming years it will connect north to Wilton and ultimately extend all the way to Danbury!
The nearest bike rack is located across the street at Stepping Stones - see the City's bike rack map (maintained by the Norwalk Bike/Walk Commission).
We also have a direct connection to East Avenue via the Yankee Doodle bridge - there's a walking/biking path on the north side.
public transportation
We have a bus stop right in front of us! It's served by the Wheels buses of the Norwalk Transit District.

The most frequent bus is Wheels Route 10, which connects us to both South Norwalk and Wall Street. It runs every 20 minutes on weekdays and every 40 minutes on Saturday. You can find the full bus schedule here. The Connecticut Ave and Main Ave Shuttles also serve our stop; both run once an hour in the evenings, plus every 80 minutes all day on Sunday. Additionally, all Wheels buses stop at the Wheels Hub which is a 10-15 minute walk from us. You can see the route maps and track the buses in real-time using MyStop (also available as an Android or iOS app).
We are about a 25 minute walk, 10 minute bike ride, or 7 minute drive from the South Norwalk train station.

A direct bus connection is available on weekday mornings and evenings via the Hospital Shuttle, which connects the train station to our bus stop and the Norwalk Hospital in a loop. You can also walk one block over to Main St and catch Wheels Route 10 (see above).

Neighborhood attractioNs
You’ll find Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum, Stepping Stones Children's Museum and Center For Contemporary Printmaking, a fantastic playground, tennis courts, picnic areas, and a historic cemetery as well as the historic Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum. ​
There’s so much to do here every day! Baseball, softball, volleyball, skate park, playground, refreshing splash pad, sun and sand sports, the sailing school, bocce, basketball, and 3/4 of a mile of scenic coastline with tremendous views. There are also special events scheduled all season long ranging from classic car shows to fabulous free concerts! Enjoy a casual meal of beachy food, or try the delicious fresh seafood at Ripka’s. Always fresh and served with a smile!
A mixed urban waterfront development based around the estuary of the Norwalk River. The park is conveniently located close to attractions including Mathews Park and Pine Island Cemetery, Oyster Shell Park, the Maritime Aquarium, the SoNo Historic District, and the Marina District.
