Saturdays | 1 - 3pm | The Norwalk Art Space | February 1, 2025 - April 12, 2025 (10 weeks; no class on February 22nd) Free and open to students 12 - 18 yrs of age | 12 spots | Registration required through The Art Space website In this class, students will transform paintings into three-dimensional moving sculptures that hang gracefully through the air! You will devise, sketch, and develop ideas that reflect an inner story that inspires students to paint, cut out, and eventually hang their artworks by suspension. Emphasis will be placed on painting the pieces for originality and finding balance through weight distribution. Artwork will be exhibited in the student exhibition at the end of the semester.
