Self Portraits using Symbolism

Fridays | 3:45pm - 5:45pm | The Norwalk Art Space | September 27 - November 15, 2024 (8 weeks) Free and open to students 12 - 18 yrs of age | 12 spots | Registration required through TNAS website What makes you special or unique? In this class, you will explore symbolism and learn painting techniques to make self-portraits that tell meaningful stories about yourself. We will work from mirrors, meaningful objects, and reference pictures to make drawings and paintings that express who we are. Over the course of eight weeks, you will create a finished self-portrait to be exhibited in TNAS’s student exhibition. Se Habla Español
